![]() ![]() This is certainly not given in terms of rendering time, and few multiplates (with the notable exception of Dark souls) used the last generation effect. The motion blur per object gives a sense of anchoring to the animation work. Watch Krato’s son’s hand as he plays with a wooden toy. The reboot features a quality object motion blur implementation, as seen in Ascension. The biggest change to the main visual experience is more a consequence of the design choice: unlike previous games, the reboot includes a completely free third-person camera, making it much more convenient to watch the scenery. With its relatively linear environments, CPU bottleneck isn’t a likely issue here, and the Neo’s ruggedized GPU can easily wipe out 60 FPS, making the experience much more tangible and responsive. ![]() In terms of what’s possible for the Neo version of the game, a 60 FPS will probably be the most tangible improvement.
